Nicole and Brianna Garcia, otherwise known as “The Bella Twins”, were born in San Diego, California, but mainly raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. The two twins, whose ethnicity include both Mexican and Italian, love to claim that they are true rocker girls at heart. Brianna, who dubs herself as the “Responsible Twin”, and Nicole, the “Mischievous Twin”, grew up playing competitive soccer for nine years, but eventually moved back to San Diego to pursue the entertainment business as they quickly found an interest in modeling, acting and promotional work. Soon they found themselves appearing in numerous trade shows across the country, being featured in several international magazines, as well as starring in a music video for the band Atreyus for their single “Right Side of the Bed”. They also made their first national television appearance on the Fox Network in a reality show called “Meet My Folks”. Quickly after their stint on the show, they were hired by American Beer company, Budweiser, for promotion as their World Cup Twins.

2006 would continue on as a break out year for the two as they went on to participate in the International Body Doubles Twin Search as well as the $250,000 WWE Raw Diva Search. Unfortunately, Brianna and Nicole did not advance to the finals of the Raw Diva Search, but did go on to the Body Doubles Finals.

Not making the Diva Search finals would not go down as a set back for the pair as they found themselves signed to developmental contracts with World Wrestling Entertainment the following year in the summer of 2007. This had sent them to the WWE’s training facilities in Tampa, Florida with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). They made their in ring debut at FCW in September 2007 where they were dubbed “The Bella Twins”. The name change was said to be in respect for WWE ring announcer Lillian Garcia whom already garnered the Garcia name in the company.

Showing wrestling fans that they can be just as aggressive as they are gorgeous, The Bella Twins continue to improve their game, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with to their opponents in the ring. With the desire of being able to kick ass and still look good doing it, this duo dreams of being the top WWE Divas because they are exactly that: Kick ass and sexy!
